Magic Cookie Bars

Makes 24 cookie bars

Ingredients:

10 oz graham cracker crumbs
8 oz margarine
14 oz sweetened condensed milk
8 oz semisweet chocolate chips
5 oz sweetened shredded coconut

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Place graham crackers crumbs in a large bowl.
Melt margarine. Add to graham cracker crumbs and mix well. Use your hand to pick up the mixture to form a ball in your hand. If it does that, then it is ready.
Press the crumb mixture into the bottom of a greased quarter sheet pan.
Pour 1 can of sweetened condensed milk over the crumb mixture.
In a separate bowl, combine chocolate chips and coconut. Blend with a rubber spatula.
Sprinkle the coconut and chocolate chip mixture over condensed milk. Press down gently.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, until lightly browned.
Cool before cutting into 20-24 pieces.
